On the first look this mini motherboard is not looking better than most of other Mini-ITX form factor boards but the first impression is very misleading. Gigabyte H55N-USB3 is very powerful at it has been proved by Ross in his great very detailed article. He has proved that popular assumption that Mini-ITX don’t overclock well is fake!

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini-ITX Motherboard Review

Thanks to “Future Looks” we can learn a lot more about this motherboard. As many of you may know this board from Gigabyte is designed to consume little power, create little noise, and generate little heat. To achieve this, the manufacturers have stripped the design of the unit down to the essentials, omitting such features as integrated Wi-Fi. Despite this, a capable and expandable system is left – and at about $100 (available on Amazon), its portability and efficiency seem worth the price.

Gigabyte’s new mini-ITX Brazos board leaks

Xbitlabs has found itself at the center of excitement surrounding its leaking of the first mini-ITX Brazos motherboards. In addition to pictures and details of Gigabyte’s first Brazos board, Xbitlabs has also given further information: the GA-E350N-USB3 uses the AMD E-350 dual-core processor (at 1.6GHz with a Radeon HD 6310 graphics card), and has USB 3.0 functionality. The board also has active cooling.

GIGABYTE announces Mini-ITX contest without prizes?

Gigabyte has decided to promote their H55 Mini-ITX mini motherboard… so they has announced a contest. They have informed in their press release published on August 2, 2010 about overclocking competition in conjunction with HWBOT.org called the H55 Mini-ITX Contest. I am sure that a lot of over-clockers might be interested in it and it is a great way to make Gigabyte’s motherboard more popular. It can show potential buyers how powerful it may be. A few days ago some of new Gigabyte’s Mini-ITX motherboard pictures have leaked. Their new upcoming mini motherboard will be one of really powerful and good priced piece of hardware. New motherboard will pack a lot of features including Intel’s H55 Express chipset, USB 3.0 ports, four SATA ports, two dual-channel DDR3 memory slots and PCI Express x16 alot, PS/2 port, four USB 2.0 ports, a D-sub, DVI and HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1-channel audio with optical S/PDIF out and eSATA connector.
