Now Zotac have joined new trend for Intel Core i3/i5 processors. They have presented new H55-based Mini-ITX motherboard. H55-ITX WiFi supports 32nm Core i3 and i5 CPU and up to 8GB DDR3 RAM.
It features a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, and six SATA II ports (one eSATA on the I/O panel). Moreover it is equipped with 802.11n wireless, gigabit Ethernet, ten USB 2.0 ports, a PS/2 port, 7.1-channel HD audio, optical S/PDIF output as well as DVI and HDMI outputs.

Elitegroup Computer Systems® (ECS) announces a new mini motherboard model based on the PineTrail platform with full support for S-ATA and PCI-E on southbridge with a mysterious name TIGT-I.
It looks that DFI have extended their offer with Mini-ITX LANParty motherboard with Intel P55 Express Chipset. LANParty motherboards are very popular so probably this one will find a lot of fans in the Mini-ITX world. More detailed specification may be found on DFI website 
During the IDF conference Intel have presented a motherboard in mini-ITX form factor with support for the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 (and future Core i3) with Socket LGA 1156. Motherboard is based on Intel’s H57 chipset, and contains practically all that is necessary to create a small HTPC computer. On this mini motherboard that is sized 17 x 17 cm we can find two slots for DDR3 memory, PCI-Express x16 slot and four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports. On the rear panel there are six USB 2.0 connectors and one HDMI, DVI, RJ-45 and eSATA. This motherboard as most in Mini-ITX format will have integrated graphics chipset onboard.
NVIDIA have confirmed release of their new ION 2 chipset later this year. Chipset probably will be able to support more processors than first ION version. As NVIDIA says it all depends from customers demands. All that is known is that it will support differing PIV compatible CPUs as well as VIA’s Nano (Yea! That’s my favourite!) and of course as first version of ION – Intel Atom processor.
